Every family has someone who keeps it from falling apart, and for the Fantastic Four that is Sue Storm. She is Reed Richards's wife and Johnny Storm's older sister, and she gained her powers on the same space flight as the rest of the team. On paper, invisibility sounds like the quietest power in the group. In practice, her force fields make her one of the strongest members, capable of shielding a crowd or stopping an attack cold.
What defines her, though, is judgment. Reed is the genius, Johnny is the showman and Ben is the muscle. Sue is the one who decides what the family is willing to risk, and the others usually listen.

Avengers: Doomsday brings heroes from different universes onto a collision course, and Sue is part of it. Beyond that, Marvel has not revealed how her story continues. Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm
Vanessa Kirby plays Sue with warmth and steel. She makes the character feel like someone who has earned the team's trust rather than someone who simply holds it. Kirby first won wide attention as Princess Margaret in The Crown, then played the arms dealer known as the White Widow in Mission: Impossible films. She also starred in Pieces of a Woman and played Joséphine opposite Joaquin Phoenix in Napoleon.
